Five uniforms. One legend.
“Nolan Ryan: Through the Ages” captures every era of Ryan’s career: from flame-throwing Mets phenom to elder statesman of the Rangers in one continuous motion across this vivid 24”x48” artwork.
The original painting is available for purchase, hand-signed by Nolan Ryan with two inscriptions:
"H.O.F. ‘99” and “5,714 Ks” — a nod to the Hall of Fame and the strikeout record that still stands. It is an acrylic and gouache painting on canvas.
A limited number of canvas prints are also available. (Note: prints do not include the autograph or inscriptions.) The piece shown in the event photo with Nolan is a 30”x60” embellished print created for a 2022 Round Rock fundraiser — that is not the original work for sale here.
Note: All prints are made to order. Please allow 4–6 weeks for production and delivery.
For embellished prints, additional time may be required depending on my current workload and schedule.

📸 From the Artist
The photo of me with Nolan Ryan was taken at his 2022 fundraiser in Round Rock, Texas, where this piece made its public debut. But the story actually starts with a different painting, a portrait I did of Nolan with his legendary bloodied lip, moments after taking a one-hopper from Bo Jackson off the face (prints of that piece are available on the website too!). I submitted that piece to the Nolan Ryan Foundation to be autographed. It caught Mr. Ryan’s attention, and that opened the door to a conversation about me painting live at his event that fall.
I created several pieces for that evening, this one included, all of which you can find in the Nolan Ryan Collection on this site. His guest that night was Joe Torre who shared stories from his impressive Hall of Fame career as a player and manager, too.
Nolan and everyone at his foundation were warm, gracious, and incredibly kind. When I got the chance to speak with him, we didn’t talk baseball. I never do with athletes, as I’m far more interested in them as people. So instead, I asked him where to get the best brisket in town. Naturally, he had a perfect answer, and I was sure to get some on the way back home.
I’ve done a lot of fundraisers over the years, and the meals are usually forgettable. Not this one. They served beef straight from Nolan’s own ranch, and it was some of the most tender, flavorful steak I’ve ever had. Ten out of ten. Would eat again.
